Top 15 upcoming cars in India in 2020 under 10 lakhs
As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and nationwide
closure, some new car releases have been delayed. Now the closure has been
partially lifted in some states and will soon be completed across the country
in the upcoming weeks. With this action, all new models will come out in place. At
least 20 cars will be launched in the next 1-2 months. Here are the brief details of the models.
1 Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
Exhibited at Expo Auto 2020, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross petrol
has already been registered on the Nexa company’s website. Strengthening will
be the 1.5L K15B petrol engine in line with the BS6 borrowed from the new Vitara
Brezza. The engine will be upgraded with soft 12V hybrid technology that will
improve its fuel efficiency and performance. Manual and automatic Transmission
will also receive minor cosmetic improvements and features upgrades.
2.Maruti
Suzuki Swift Hatchback
It is the best car under 10 lakhs with features and looks. The indo-Japanese automaker recently introduced an updated swift hatchback line-up
infotainment system. In the coming months, the vehicle will receive a small
upgrade in the form of an SUVs 1.2L Dualjet gas engine. It will be more effective and powerful than the existing
engine. The Dualjet engine gives a maximum power of 90 bhp and a torque of 113
Nm. Capacity is likely to undergo some other changes inside and outsides.
3.Honda new
city
The fifth-generation Honda city, due to be unveiled on march
16, it will hit the roads after closing. The new sedan model will be bigger than
Hyundai Verna and Maruti Ciaz. It will be even longer, wider and bigger than
the old model. Major changes will be made to the exterior and interior. Under
the hood, the Honda City 2020 will feature the BS6 1.5L petrol and diesel engines
generating 121 bhp and 100bhp power respectively. A CVT automatic is offered
exclusively on the diesel variants.
4.Hyundai
Tucson Facelift
The ease of upcoming car in 2020 Hyundai Tucson made its first
public appearance at this year’s Auto Expo. Official SUV Booking began before the blockade. The model will come in three trims GL 2WD,
GLS 2WD and GLS 4WD with both petrol and diesel variants. While petrol variants
will have an engine of 150bhp,2.0L diesel variants will get a 182 bhp,2.0L
engine. The SUV can be either a 6-speed automatic or with 8-speed automatic
transmission. Significant changes have also been made to its exterior and
interior changes.
5.Mahindra
Thar
The New generation of Mahindra Thar has been confirmed to
launch in mid -2020. However, this did not happen due to the ongoing health
crisis. Now the motorist is bringing the
Thar mail block completely. The biggest change in off-road SUV is the new 2.0L
mStallion petrol engine with an output of 190 bhp power and 380 Nm torque. The diesel variants
get the BS6 190 bhp,2.2L engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. The
interior will also witness extensive changes, including a new infotainment
system. The manufacturer can also improve its security by adding new features.
6.Mahindra
TUV300 facelift
The compact MahindraTUV300 SUV is ready to get a mid-life
update in the coming weeks. The updated SUV model gets a new honeycomb grille,
recently created headlights and revised bumpers. In addition to the minimal
external changes, the new TUV300 Facelift will get a BS6 version compatible
with the existing 1.5L engine, 3 turbo diesel cylinders with a 5-speed gearbox.
In the BS4 norms, the engine delivers the power of 100 bhp and 240 Nm of
torque.
7. Tata
Altroz Premium
Tata Motors will unveil a 1.2L turbo petrol engine in the
Altroz turns premium formation. The engine is quite good for 99 bhp and 141Nm.
The capacity may also include a two-clutch automatic transmission, along with a
standard five-speed manual transmission. Turbo Tata Altroz Design and features
of the petrol turbo variants are likely to remain unchanged.
8. MG
Hector Plus
MG Motors has confirmed
the new upcoming car MG Hector plus in the market from June 2020 The regular hector’s
powertrain will be available in Hector Plus. It will get a 1.5-litre
the turbocharged petrol engine, which will come with mild-hybrid technology. Also, 1
The 2.0-litre diesel engine will be available. The petrol engine will give 143
bhp power and 250 Nm of torque. At the same time, the diesel engine will give
torque of 350 Nm with 170 bhp power.
9.Kia Sonet
Kia motor will be launched in the new model in the market
under the name Kia Sonet. It is sub-compact(Smaller than 4-meter) SUV. At the
recent auto, the company introduced the concept of Sonet SUV. It is launched in
the market against SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai venue and Tata Nexon.
10. Mahindra
XUV300 Sportz
Automobile manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra is about to
launch its Sub-Compact SUV by making even more powerful. The company showcased
this more powerful variant named Mahindra XUV300 Sportz at the Auto Expo 2020
held a few months ago. The company gives new 1.3L petrol engine which gives 130 bhp power
and 230 Nm torque.
11. Renault
Kiger
After the MPV triber success, Renault is bringing Sub-Compact SUV Kiger. This new SUV car from
Renault will go on the market in late 2020 this year. The Kiger SUV will have same 1-litre petrol engine used in the triber.
This engine gives 71 bhp power and 96 Nm of torque. It is more powerful than
triber. This new SUV car will get 5-speed manual and Automatic transmission

12. Force
Motor New Gurkha
Force Motor has unveiled the new Gurkha at Auto Expo 2020. It
is expected to launch in June 2020. The 2020 Force Gurkha have 2.0-liter diesel
engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. It gives the 90 bhp power. The
Xtreme offers a seating capacity of 6. It comes with 500 litres of boot space.
It is offered in orange colour options.
13.Renault
Duster Turbo
There is good news for the customers who like Renault Duster.
Now this car is going to get more powerful and latest engine than before. The
company said that the Reno Duster will now come with a 1.3-litre petrol
engine. This engine gives the power of 156 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It comes with
two new turbo engines- 1.0 litres and 1.3 litres.
14.Nissan Magnite
The
The Japanese manufacturer has confirmed that the new Nissan Magnite Subcompact SUV
will be launched in mid-2020. It comes with a 1.0-litre,3-cylinder petrol engine.
This engine generates 72 bhp power and 96 Nm torque. It competes with the Vitara
Brezza.
15.Toyota
Urban Cruiser
Toyota-Suzuki
is going to launch a new vehicle in the Indian market in the coming days under
its partnership. The company’s car will b based on the Vitara Brezza. Which
will be launched as Toyota Urban Cruiser. As per the information this Toyota Urban
cruiser has been launched in the starting of July or August.
