Renault Kwid RXL 1.0 Has Been Launched In India in 2020

Introduction

French automobile company Renault India (Reno India) launched its new car Renault Kwid RXL 1.0 (Kwid RXL) variants in India. The company has introduced this car with two versions manual and automatic. With the launch of the new Renault Kwid RXL 1.0, the company has announced that it has sold over 3.5 lakh units of the Kwid. Even after several years of its launch, the Kwid is quite popular in India's entry-level hatchback car segment and accounts for a large share of Reno India's sales.

Features of  Renault Kwid RXL 1.0

Talking about the features of the Renault Kwid RXL 1.0, it includes a 20.32 cm (8.0-inch) touchscreen MediaNav Evolution, first-in-class LED digital instrument cluster, floor console AMT dial, one-touch lane change indicator, speed-dependent volume control and 279 liters. Includes boot space.

Talking about safety features, Renault Kwid RXL 1.0 variants get standard features like driver-side airbags, ABS, EBD, seat-belt reminder, speed alert system, and rear parking sensors. That is, it will also be available in the cheapest model of the car.

The Renault Kwid RXL 1.0 comes with an optional extended warranty of up to 5 years / 1 lakh km. It is available in 6 colours Gensker Blue, Fiery Red, Moonlight Silver, Ice Cool White, Outback Bronze and Electric Blue. Customers can customize the Kwid with accessory packs such as essential packs, SUV packs, chrome packs and urban packs.

Engine and Power of Renault Kwid RXL 1.0

The Renault Kwid RXL 1.0 variant will now be available in both 0.8-liter and 1.0-liter powertrains. The new 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine generates 67 bhp of power and 91 Nm of torque. This engine is available with the 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission options. Until now, this engine was available only in Kwid's top variants RXL and CLIMBER. The other is a 0.8-liter petrol engine. This engine generates 53bhp of power and 72Nm of torque. This engine only gets a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Price of Renault Kwid RXL 1.0

The manual version of the Renault Kwid RXL 1.0 variant costs Rs 4.16 lakh and the AMT version costs Rs 4.88 lakh. The company is offering this,Reno India is offering many offers to help customers buy cars. These include 'Buy Now Pay Letter', ie 'Buy Now and Give EMI Later' scheme. Under this scheme, customers will buy Reno's car, then the EMI of the car will start after 3 months. Hyundai Tucson Facelift SUV Will Be Launched In India On July 14th

Hyundai is about to launch its new HyundaiTucson facelift in India on 14 July. The company was about to launch this much-awaited SUV much earlier, but it was delayed due to an epidemic. The Tucson facelift was first introduced in India at the Auto Expo 2020 held in February in India.

The new Hyundai Tucson facelift will have a new cabin look. The biggest change that will be seen in its interior will be its new dashboard design. It specifically features a new free-standing 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This infotainment system is equipped with Hyundai's BlueLink connected car technology. Engine and Power of  Hyundai Tucson

The most significant change in the new Hyundai Tucson facelift has been done in its engine. Both the petrol and diesel engines of the old model of the car have been upgraded to the new BS6 emission standards. The petrol variant of this SUV has a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine that will generate 150hp of power and 192Nm of torque. While the diesel variant has a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine that will generate 182hp of power and 400Nm of torque. A torque-converter automatic gearbox will be standard with both engines. The petrol variant will get a 6-speed gearbox like the old model, while the diesel variant will get an all-new 8-speed gearbox. The AWD (all-wheel drive) will be available only in the top-model (GLS) diesel trim.

Talking about the design, the overall style of the new Hyundai Tucson facelift will not see much change and it is not much different from the old model. However, the new facelift model will see a new version of Hyundai's cascading grille, new headlight and the tail-light unit, and new front and rear bumpers. All these new features help give it a new look.

Competition of  Hyundai Tucson

After its launch in The Indian market, the HyundaiTucson facelift will compete with SUV cars such as the Jeep Compass and Honda CR-V. Korean car manufacturer Tuson is going to introduce the facelift in two trims - GL Option (GL Option) and GLS (GLS). With the mechanical and cosmetic updates, the updated model is expected to be priced higher than the outgoing model.

Hyundai launched its first electric minibus with a 250 km range

Hyundai Motors has launched its first electric minibus, County Electric. It will be economical and environmentally friendly as compared to diesel-powered buses. Currently, this minibus will be available in the Korean market.

The Hyundai electric minibus also has the latest safety technology to prevent accidents when passengers climb and take off. An ultrasonic sensor located near the middle door does not allow the doors to close when the movement of a passenger is detected. If any part of the body gets stuck between the doors, it sounds an alarm to prevent injury. The ultrasonic sensor is also connected to the bus's acceleration paddle, which prevents the bus from moving from a stop when the passenger's movement is detected. County Electric has a virtual engine sound system and rear parking assist system to warn pedestrians and prevent accidents.

Battery and power

This Hyundai electric minibus is equipped with a high-power 128-kWh lithium-ion-polymer battery that can cover up to 250 kilometers on full charging. The battery can be completely energized in a short time utilizing a standard Combo 1 DC framework (in light of 150kW charging). It takes 17 hours to charge the battery through a domestic 220V outlet. The 220V charger is offered as an option.

The county electric bus has a length of 7,710 mm and comes with 15 to 33 seats. The bus features an electronically controlled, air-over-hydraulic (AOH) brake system, which comes with a more robust brake disc to handle increased vehicle loads due to the battery. According to Hyundai, running at speeds of 50 to 80 kilometers per hour gives this electric minibus acceleration 30 percent faster than the diesel model.

 More Space

The use of electric motors instead of diesel engines have increased the bus space, making passenger movement easier. The bus is available with a twin swing-type rear emergency door, with 220-mm-high backrest seats and a new seat belt system that can reduce abdominal pressure during emergency braking.

With the boom in the electric vehicles market, Hyundai is also moving towards green transformation. "County Electric is a zero-emission bus that provides tremendous safety and convenience features for drivers and passengers," said Yun Li, vice President and Head of the Commercial Vehicle Products Group, in a press statement. "As demand for electric vehicles picks up in the commercial vehicle market, Hyundai County is accelerating the introduction of vehicles such as Electric," he said.
