Top 15 upcoming cars in India in 2020 under 10 lakhs

As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and nationwide closure, some new car releases have been delayed. Now the closure has been partially lifted in some states and will soon be completed across the country in the upcoming weeks. With this action, all new models will come out in place. At least 20 cars will be launched in the next 1-2 months. Here are the brief details of the models.

1 Maruti Suzuki S-Cross

Exhibited at Expo Auto 2020, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross petrol has already been registered on the Nexa company’s website. Strengthening will be the 1.5L K15B petrol engine in line with the BS6 borrowed from the new Vitara Brezza. The engine will be upgraded with soft 12V hybrid technology that will improve its fuel efficiency and performance. Manual and automatic Transmission will also receive minor cosmetic improvements and features upgrades.

2.Maruti Suzuki Swift Hatchback

It is the best car under 10 lakhs with features and looks. The indo-Japanese automaker recently introduced an updated swift hatchback line-up infotainment system. In the coming months, the vehicle will receive a small upgrade in the form of an SUVs 1.2L Dualjet gas engine. It will be more effective and powerful than the existing engine. The Dualjet engine gives a maximum power of 90 bhp and a torque of 113 Nm. Capacity is likely to undergo some other changes inside and outsides.

3.Honda new city

The fifth-generation Honda city, due to be unveiled on march 16, it will hit the roads after closing. The new sedan model will be bigger than Hyundai Verna and Maruti Ciaz. It will be even longer, wider and bigger than the old model. Major changes will be made to the exterior and interior. Under the hood, the Honda City 2020 will feature the BS6 1.5L petrol and diesel engines generating 121 bhp and 100bhp power respectively. A CVT automatic is offered exclusively on the diesel variants.

4.Hyundai Tucson Facelift

Now the motorist is bringing  the Thar mail block completely. The biggest change in off-road SUV is the new 2.0L mStallion petrol engine with an output of 190 bhp power and 380 Nm torque. The diesel variants get the BS6 190 bhp,2.2L engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. The interior will also witness extensive changes, including a new infotainment system. The manufacturer can also improve its security by adding new features.

6.Mahindra TUV300 facelift

The compact MahindraTUV300 SUV is ready to get a mid-life update in the coming weeks. The updated SUV model gets a new honeycomb grille, recently created headlights and revised bumpers. In addition to the minimal external changes, the new TUV300 Facelift will get a BS6 version compatible with the existing 1.5L engine, 3 turbo diesel cylinders with a 5-speed gearbox. In the BS4 norms, the engine delivers the power of 100 bhp and 240 Nm of torque.

7. Tata Altroz Premium

Tata Motors will unveil a 1.2L turbo petrol engine in the Altroz turns premium formation. The engine is quite good for 99 bhp and 141Nm. The capacity may also include a two-clutch automatic transmission, along with a standard five-speed manual transmission. Turbo Tata Altroz Design and features of the petrol turbo variants are likely to remain unchanged.

8. MG Hector Plus

MG Motors has confirmed the new upcoming car MG Hector plus in the market from June 2020 The regular hector’s powertrain will be available in Hector Plus. It will get a 1.5-litre the turbocharged petrol engine, which will come with mild-hybrid technology. Also, 1 The 2.0-litre diesel engine will be available. The petrol engine will give 143 bhp power and 250 Nm of torque. At the same time, the diesel engine will give torque of 350 Nm with 170 bhp power.

9.Kia Sonet

Kia motor will be launched in the new model in the market under the name Kia Sonet. It is sub-compact(Smaller than 4-meter) SUV. At the recent auto, the company introduced the concept of Sonet SUV. It is launched in the market against SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai venue and Tata Nexon.

10. Mahindra XUV300 Sportz

Automobile manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra is about to launch its Sub-Compact SUV by making even more powerful. The company showcased this more powerful variant named Mahindra XUV300 Sportz at the Auto Expo 2020 held a few months ago. The company gives new 1.3L petrol engine which gives 130 bhp power and 230 Nm torque.

11. Renault Kiger

Force Motor has unveiled the new Gurkha at Auto Expo 2020. It is expected to launch in June 2020. The 2020 Force Gurkha have 2.0-liter diesel engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. It gives the 90 bhp power. The Xtreme offers a seating capacity of 6. It comes with 500 litres of boot space. It is offered in orange colour options.

13.Renault Duster Turbo

There is good news for the customers who like Renault Duster. Now this car is going to get more powerful and latest engine than before. The company said that the Reno Duster will now come with a 1.3-litre petrol engine. This engine gives the power of 156 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It comes with two new turbo engines- 1.0 litres and 1.3 litres.

14.Nissan Magnite

The The Japanese manufacturer has confirmed that the new Nissan Magnite Subcompact SUV will be launched in mid-2020. It comes with a 1.0-litre,3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine generates 72 bhp power and 96 Nm torque. It competes with the Vitara Brezza.

MG officially launched its premium, SUV Hector. MG Hector has many features which are found in an expensive SUV. Many features have been given in this segment for the first time. MG Hector is the first car in which internet connectivity has been given through sim card. Hector receives over the air updates via intranet connectivity. Geofencing will also be available. We ran the Candy White colour of MG Hector which did not look very special to us, which its glaze Red colour was very attractive to us. First of all, if we talk about its design, then from the front it looks quite big to you.

It uses good plastic on the given honeycomb grill and both headlights are chrome-coated, which looks good. A large MG logo is given in the middle of the grill, Apart from this, the company has LED in all the lights, whether it be floating light turn indicator, LED DRLs, LED headlamps and fog lamps in the front or fog lamps and tail lamps in the rear. Here you get all the LEDs, due to which their visibility is very good at night time.

Talking of the side profile, a typical SUV looks like here. Dual toned machined alloys look very good and we like the chrome finish on the window beltline, which looks quite attractive. Talking about the rear looks, the LED tail lamps look interconnected, but the top of the exhaust looks like a 4×4 SUV.

However, the company could have made it a bit better. Overall the design is much better and the internet inside badging on the side will make you look very cute and the rear look also looks very heavy with shark fin antennas.

Talking about dimensions, it has a length of 4655 mm, height 1760 mm and wheelbase 2750 mm, which is more than the Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier in its segment. At the same time, its width is 1835 mm, which is more than Jeep Compass and less than Tata Harrier. Apart from this, its ground clearance is 198 mm, which is sufficient for the SUV.

MG Hector is the first car to get LED headlight, tail lights, rear fog lights. Indicators in ORVMs are also LED. The headlight is given in a split layout. The light design has been given a like a latch bar, which is all over the boot.

Only the driver seat in the petrol variant is 6- way electrically adjustable. At the same time, in the diesel variants, the driver 6-way and co-passenger 4-way are electrically adjustable. Apart from this, the company has given dual-pane panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate opting, rain-sensing wipers and cruise control for a beautiful view.

Interior Design

Talking about the interior, you will see an all-black theme in it, but from the window to the roof you get off-white colour. Apart from this, the company has used good grade leather on all seats, there is also leather on the door trims, dashboard and driver armrest. The front of the cabin also has good quality plastic. However, there is a lack of soft-touch here.

The most attractive you find in front of the cabin is the The 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the vertical shape given in it. It is quite easy to access them and if you say Hello Mg on one voice, it activates immediately and can do many things with opening and closing the sunroof with your voice command.

According to the company, the new MG Hector will get 1.5 the litre petrol engine, which generates 143 bhp power and 250 Nm torque. The diesel variants have a 2.0-litre diesel engine., which generates 167.68 bhp and 350 Nm torque.

Both engines are equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox and do not pose any problems even during gear shifting. Gear shifting is quite smooth. Overall, if you are buying diesel variants then you will feel a little power shortage here, but if you are going to buy petrol variants then it will not disappoint you. This car gives the mileage of 11.7 kilometres per litre of the petrol engine and 14.9 kilometres per litre of the diesel engine.

48V mild-hybrid technology has been given only in hector and it will be available only in petrol variants. MG claims that through this technology there will be a 12 per cent gain in mileage. At the same time, additional torque of 20 Nm will also be available at low speed through mild technology.

Price

Speaking about MG Hector price 12.18 lakhs to 16.88 lakhs. In the market, it will compete with SUVs like Kia seltos, Tata harrier, Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass.

Mightyseed Designs, a company is known for modifying cars to introduce they in a new appearance launched a project to introduce the brand Hindustan Motors with the new design language. Mghtyseed design is a house of Kochi Kerela that design all kinds of product which customer wants.

After seeing the existing electric vehicles, it is no secret that more cabin space is now a very important part in the design of electric Automobiles. And this is a very important aspect of Contessa EV’s design.

Mightyseed believes that simplicity is associated with beauty and this can be seen in the concept of Hindustan Motors new Contessa Electric vehicle. The company reduced the body height of the old model of this car and increased the width of the cabin. This experiment has given the Hindustan Motors Contessa EV model a facelift. It is a two-door concept car.

In term of external design the Mightyseed design does not any physical appearance of the door handles, get large 10-spoke alloy wheels with low profile tyres, and also give slick camera instead of wings mirror.
