MotoCorp (Hero MotoCorp) has announced the launch of its online sales platform
- eShop (eShop) to give customers fully digital shopping experience. Under
this, customers can now buy vehicles of their choice, be it scooters or
motorcycles, directly from the company's website. After which customers will no
longer need to go to the dealership. The entire purchase process will be
online.

eSHOP
is now appearing on Hero MotoCorp's official website for India. When shoppers
wishing to buy Hero's motorcycle or scooter online will go to the website, then
the option of eShop will appear here. Clicking on this link will open a website
for online shopping. On this, complete information is given to the customers
through all the relevant steps of making a vehicle purchase decision, buying a
vehicle and taking delivery. This includes the latest on-road price of the
vehicle, livestock status, online document submission, dealership information,
finance options, sales order preview and confirmation, VIN location and
delivery details. The customer can choose the bike or scooter of his choice as
well as variants, colours and city of his choice.
Assistant will help in shopping
After
payment, the customer is given an e-receipt with a unique OTP number for
verification. Once the verification work is completed in the system, the
selected dealer appoints a sales assistant for the customer. If the customer is
willing, then the option of retail finance option is also given during the
payment process. The sales assistant gives all kinds of information to the
customers and guides them to the subsequent stages of documentation, finance,
invoicing, insurance, registration and delivery (option of home delivery).

After
the order process is complete, an SMS is sent to the customer with a link that
takes him to the document uploading section. After verification, the sales
order preview is sent to the customer and an invoice is created. The
application for registration of the vehicle is made by the dealer and the
vehicle is delivered according to the customer's choice. There are options for
home delivery or delivery at the dealership. During delivery, some important
documents are signed by the customer, which are required in the RTO.
Digital aftersales service launched
Apart
from this, Hero MotoCorp has also launched several digital aftersales services.
This includes an app-based service booking and increases in workshop operating
hours, including digital service job cards and acknowledgement receipts being
offered for the first time in the industry. Using the Hero MotoCorp mobile
application, customers can pre-book their car's service at their nearest
service centre. Apart from this, they can also avoid any kind of paperwork and
physical contact in the workshop for which they can prepare their own service
job-cards and get a digital acknowledgement.
